Brian Lee

Brian Lee joins PLS as our new non-executive chairman bringing over 10 years of licensing and brand creation experience with him.  Brian founded and currently manages CT Licensing Limited, one of the largest independent brand licensing companies in China for brands like Mattel and Karl Lagerfeld, and joint owner of the Playboy brand in China.  Prior to that, Brian created and managed the Korean fast fashion brand H:CONNECT, which at its peak had over 350 points of retail across Asia.

With more than 20 years' of experience managing businesses across the entire consumer products supply chain, from factory sourcing to retail, Brian was previously the CEO of Branded Lifestyle, an apparel and accessories retail platform with a retail store network of over 1,200 doors across Asia.

His extensive experience in investment, turn around, and M&A integration makes for a perfect, strategic addition to the PLS partnership, at a time when the agency is seeks to remain at the forefront of licensing and brand management in Asia.

Neal Rudge

Neal has more than 30 years’ experience in international licensing, starting in the early 90s working first at Hanna-Barbera, then at Universal Studios in Los Angeles running its licensing programs in Asia and Latin America.

In 2000, Neal joined Warner Bros. Consumer Products and relocated to Singapore to build the Southeast Asia business from a very small base by first putting in place an exemplary team, followed by strong licensee and retailer relations throughout the region. When Global Brands was formed in 2004, Neal together with the rest of the Singapore team carried on managing the Warner Bros business as a long-term agent for Southeast Asia.

Upon Global Brand’s acquisition of the worldwide FIFA, PGA TOUR and FIBA rights, Neal shifted his focus over to sports properties and was responsible for the global licensing program around FIFA 2010 World Cup South Africa, registering over 250 licensees worldwide in such diverse categories as stitched footballs to fan souvenirs items, and fine art to formal wear. He oversaw the host country activation, responsible for delivery of the stadium on-site program, as well as merchandising official FIFA Fanfest venues around the world, and over 5,000 Official Event Store locations worldwide. In all FIFA 2010 World Cup South Africa was more than a $30 million gross licensing program.

Since co-founding Pacific Licensing Studio in 2011, Neal has been focused on upstream client management, and looking after the agency’s marketing & creative departments.

Carol Tan

Carol has been in the brand management, retail and licensing industry for more than 30 years, starting with Coop International and Dickson Group managing fashion, leather goods and consumer products brands (Goldpfeil, Francesco Smalto, Polo Ralph Lauren, Anne Klein, Charles Jourdan, Warner Bros) and others.

In 2001, she joined Warner Bros. Consumer Products and was instrumental in driving the licensing business in Indonesia and Thailand. In 2003, she signed up a key strategic financial partner, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk Indonesia to launch a co-branded BCA/Mastercard credit card featuring the classic Looney Tunes, which was the first of its kind in Southeast Asia.

A pioneer in the Global Brands Group Singapore team, Carol moved to the Sports Licensing team in mid 2006 to handle its licensing business in Greater China and South Korea, and to oversee worldwide strategic initiatives. She also worked with FIFA’s preferred supplier to source premiums for commercial affiliates, and signed up Chinese retailers to carry forward 3 sports brands – FIFA, FIBA and PGA TOUR – collectively across the three retailers committing to close to 1,500 POS opening over the coming years.

Since co-founding Pacific Licensing Studio in 2011, Carol has overseen our business in the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Thailand, and is also the principal overseeing Pacific Sourcing Studio.

Wallace Tay

Wallace has been in the licensing industry for 25 years. During that time, he has been involved in all aspects of the business – from being a licensee, to a licensor (Warner Bros. Consumer Products), to licensing agent. He was one of the pioneers of Global Brands Group when the company was set up in 2004.

Wallace has been responsible for Warner Bros’ licensing business in Southeast Asia for the past 11 years. Under his leadership, he has consistently delivered results and won numerous WBCP regional agent awards. For five consecutive years, he has won the Best Revenue Achievement award, an important testimony to his outstanding performance.

In addition, he has continuously initiated new business concepts. For example, he championed the launch of DC Comic Superheroes fashion boutiques in Asia, now with presence in China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. During the FIFA 2010 World Cup, he set up more than 3,000 World Cup Official Event Stores in Indonesia – another impressive achievement.

Since co-founding Pacific Licensing Studio in 2011, Wallace has been managing our business in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
