Jakarta, Aug 17, 2019 - Global lifestyle brand Sanrio and Kelapa Gading kick off its 16th Jakarta Fashion & Food Festival with a fashion collaboration featuring the beloved Hello Kitty. Themed “Hello Again, Runway Kitty”, this collaboration centres around fashion and accessories for the millennials to young adults and office ladies, allowing them to share their story and reminisce their happy moments with the cultural icon.

The collaboration features 4 local Indonesian designers (Cynthia Tan, Enrica Valencia, Jenahara Nasution, and Amot Syamsurimuda) with Hello Kitty, we see yet another global symbol of self-expression take on the silhouette in an exciting way. Highlight of this collaboration will also showcase the first-ever Hello Kitty men’s collection to launch in Southeast Asia.
Sanrio offers a global lifestyle brand with a wide range of unique and bespoke products; fashion and accessories are an important category that resonates with the Hello Kitty fanbase. The collaboration with JFFF and the four designers mirror Sanrio and PLS continued efforts to incorporate such trendy projects and all things ‘kawaii’ into the lifestyle of our Indonesian fans.
