No more exhausting flight to San Diego needed now that the ultimate Hollywood experience is on its way to Thailand with the first ever Comic Con in Bangkok set for July 4-6, 2014. The press conference announcing Bangkok Comic Com was held May 15, 2014 by co-partners and event organizers, BEC-Tero True Visions. True to the spirit of Comic Con it was an exciting event with lots of actors, cosplay and other surprises to give Thai fans a big thrill.
Neal Rudge, a Partner of Pacific Licensing Studio also spiced up the event by sharing exciting news as to how Bangkok Comic Con would now be the “home” of the Batman 75th Anniversary celebration in Thailand. Included is an exhilarating line-up of Batman activities sure to dazzle the crowd, including the first ever Batmobile Hologram Exhibition to tour the region. The exhibition will feature five different Batmobiles starting with the 1966 TV series classic version.
Bangkok Comic Con visitors will also be able to enjoy the “Walk Through” Batman museum which will showcase the history of Batman, including a real Batmobile replica on display for this event only in Bangkok. Finally, the Caped Crusader himself will be there, for lots of meet & greet and photo opportunities with the fans.
Michael E. Uslan, producer of all of the big-screen Batman movies from Tim Burton’s Batman in 1989 through to Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises will also be bringing his insights into the Batman character and other comic book heroes in panel discussions at the event. DC fans also shouldn’t miss the DC Super Heroes Pop-Up Store in Bangkok Comic Con which will showcase an exclusive range of unique products to celebrate Batman 75th anniversary.
