《We Bare Bears》 at Classic Towns in Taiwan
Tainan City Mayor Huang Wei-Cher Promotes International Tourism
Tourism Bureau, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, sets 2019 as "Year for Town-Wandering" and actively promotes in-depth travel for towns. "Yanshui District” and “Houbi District" in Tainan City have both been chosen as the top 30 classic towns in Taiwan. To further facilitate tourism in Tainan, Tainan Tourism and Travel Bureau exclusively worked with Cartoon Network and invite the main characters of the world-renowned cartoon《We Bare Bears》 to “show up” in the classic towns of Yanshui and Houbi for a tour. Don’t miss the chance to see Grizzly, Panda, and Ice Bear in Tainan City in November!
As for the classic town, Houbi District in Tainan City has the Togo Art Museum with culture and arts, Jingliao old Street, and the Orchid Plantation, together with the nearby Guanziling Mud Hot Spring, possessing abundant tourism resources. Yanshui District used to be one of the top four cities among "Fucheng, Lugang, Manka, and Yuejin,” where thousands of tourists would flock in for the Yanshui Beehive Firecrackers every year and taking up headlines for international media. In recent years, with the help of the Yuejin Lantern Festival, the energetic event and the calm event fully exhibit the unique culture of Yanshui. Visit classic towns in Tainan in November to take a picture with Grizzly, Panda, and Ice Bear from 《We Bare Bears》 and check-in to receive a souvenir; there is also a stamp collection lucky draw event! From 1 November to 30 November, you may see the cute Bears showing up around eight locations, including Yongcheng Theater, Qiaonan Old Street Bajiao Building, and Taiwan Poetry Road in Yanshui Direct, as well as Wumiler Travel and Service Center, Wushulin Park, Houbi Train Station, and Cadozea Food Story House in Houbi District. Event 1: Citizens may take a picture at two or more of the above-designated locations and upload them to Facebook or IG and tag #classtownyanshuihoubi #webarebears within one day during the event period (1 November to 30 November 2019) to get a 《We Bare Bears》 souvenir at the exchange desk.
Event 2: Citizens may collect stamps from five different designated locations during the event period (1 November to 30 November 2019) to participate in the lucky draw. The awards include air purifiers, local specialty souvenir, and 《We Bare Bears》 merchandise.

About We Bare Bears
Cartoon Network’s We Bare Bears is an animated comedy about three brothers trying to fit in and make friends...which can be kinda hard to do when you’re a bear. Grizzly is the oldest bear, and leads his brothers with bounds of optimism...which only turn out disastrous some of the time. Panda, the middle child, is a hopeless romantic. Ice Bear is the youngest brother with a wild card personality.
